Ellis Emmerson (they/them) is a queer illustrator and designer from Dorset, UK. Their work seeks to foster feelings of connection; past and present, to each other and within ourselves. Through tactile, craft-based image making, Ellis hopes to infuse their illustrative work with humanity, empathy and sensitivity.

 

Ellis first studied Foundation Design for Theate, Screen and Performance at the University of the Arts London before falling in love with visual arts on a course in Art Direction. They are currently completing their MA Illustration at Kingston University, having studied the topic at BA previously.
