Ellis Emmerson (they/them) is a queer illustrator and designer based in Buckinghamshire, UK. Their work captures their playful love for learning about our world and its history. Heavily influenced by traditional art forms from medieval tapestries to woodblock printing, Ellis’ work is as eclectic as the many topics they are inspired to capture in their work.
Ellis first studied Foundation Design for Theate, Screen and Performance at the University of the Arts London before falling in love with visual arts on a course in Art Direction. They are currently completing their BA Illustration at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham.
